CAPTAIN GRANT'S BEDROOMS

All of the bedrooms have full baths and cable TV. Three of these rooms have gas fireplaces. All bedrooms include the elegance of a carafe of Crème Sherry. All linens are of the best quality and hand pressed. The home, built in 1754, has extensive open beamed ceilings and architecture befitting a sea Captain. We are air conditioned in summer.

AVERY HOME'S BEDROOMS

The Holly & Margaret Rooms are located next door in the Avery Home. The Avery home was originally a blacksmith shop in the late 1600's. It was designated a home in 1790 and a new addition was added in 1829. The two rooms both have wood burning fireplaces, full baths and a carafe of Crème Sherry and TV. Each room has a queen size bed. The Holly room has a jetted tub.

ADELAIDE

ADELAIDE If you love old world charm this is the room for you. Along with its massive open beamed ceiling, the early 19th century bed set is certain to please any avid antique loving person. It is one of our largest rooms.

AMY Choose this room and sleep on a custom built four poster bed crafted from cherry wood. Let your senses take in the beauty of the handmade quilt and four poster drapes that grace this room. Amy is also one of our rooms with a gas fireplace.

COLLETTE

COLLETTE Collette is one of our largest rooms. It can sleep three comfortably. It retains its original massive beams and wide board floors. It has a queen size bed and a twin bed. If the 2 children are small enough to share the twin bed.

ELIZABETH

CAPTAIN GRANT’S ELIZABETH Elizabeth is directly off the 2nd floor deck. The same four poster bed that adorns the Amy room is also in the Elizabeth room. This room also has a gas burning fireplace. On the mantel is a child’s rocking horse from the early 1800s. There are open beams to gaze up at and a pumpkin pine floor that is now extinct wood. A cantor of sherry sits on the small chest awaiting you to savor its contents.

GRANT’S MARIE

CAPTAIN GRANT’S MARIE This is the only first floor room in the main house. It has easy access to the first floor deck and the common area. The room has a 19th century four poster canopy bed. The duvet has been hand crafted by the owner and the canopy has been hand crocheted.

HOLLY

HOLLY The 18th century reproduction fireplace is the centerpiece of this room. It has an open beamed ceiling and painted floor. Between the beams the white boards are hand stenciled. The furniture is rare. It is a cross of Victorian and Art Deco. The bath has a jetted tub. This room is truly an experience of the old world.

MARGARET

MARGARET Margaret is our only Victorian styled bedroom and the only bedroom to have a ceiling. It is a bright and lovely room. The wood burning fireplace is white and black marble. We supply the fire starters and the logs. In colder months this bedroom is one of the favorites for guests.

CAPTAIN GRANT’S POLICIES
PETS:
We are pet friendly. There is a onetime fee per visit of $35 per visit.
Pets are not allowed at breakfast. Pets are to be caged if left alone in the room. Pets are not allowed to be bathed in our tubs.

THREE PEOPLE:
There is a charge of $25 for a third adult and a $15 charge for someone age 15 or younger.

CHECKOUT:
Check out is at 11 AM. If you wish to stay later you must be out of your room.

CAPTAIN GRANT’S:
For a one night stay we charge 100% up front. For a multiple night stay we charge 50% up front.
If you cancel 10 days or more before you expected arrival, you get a full refund less $40 per night processing fee. If we are unable to re-book your room you will be charged the full cost of your stay. Fifty percent of the full cost of your cancelled stay will be applied to a future booking if made at the time of cancellation.

There are no refunds for early departure.
